此次厦门降雨强至破纪录是因为季风气流叠加“丹娜丝”的残余涡旋导致，西南季风气流和南海季风气流一同输送水汽，因此降雨强度很大，目前厦门降雨明显减弱，但上游仍源源不断的有对流生成，局地有可能会再现强降雨，公众请持续注意防范。
